NEWS BULLETIN FEBRUARY 26, 2020 Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team on their win over Belmont! Great job girls! Tomorrow’s FFA dress up day is Blue and Gold. Wear National FFA Colors Senior boys’ basketball players: Please turn in your senior write up and picture by noon. Any HS students who are interested in a construction or mechanic job this summer should see Mr. Tarrell. Spring Athletes, just a reminder that per WIAA rules, your academic eligibility will depend on your quarter three grades. Quarter three ends on Friday, March 6. Academic ineligibility would last for 15 school days meaning a return date of April 3. The week of Spring Break does not count in the 15 days. Check in with your teachers TODAY! Reminder to all Juniors. ACT testing is Tuesday March 3rd. You will need to be at the Catholic Church basement no later than 7:45 am. Remember to bring a calculator and #2 pencils with you. Attendance is mandatory! There will be a HS GB meeting at 3:15 in the commons. Would whoever took the Rubik’s cubes from the library please return them. All three are missing.

No passes of any kind will be accepted. Tomorrow’s FFA dress up day is farm animals. Dress up like your favorite farm animal. Aggie Feud has two new winners. There were no students that had the top 4 answers in order. When going with those with the best answers and the tiebreakers there was still a tie. Pep Rally at IGHS will be at 11:15 same morning. All 3 wrestlers will be wrestling Thursday night stating at 7 pm in Kohl Center.

Good luck to the GB team against Potosi/Cassville! Jv game time is 6:00. Students and staff, please leave the parking open in front of school for senior citizens for this evening’s game. The bus for Sectional Wrestling at Westby tomorrow leaves at 6:15. Good luck guys! Next week is National FFA week. Monday’s dress up day is Tractor Wars. Wear your favorite tractor color.

Middle School solo/ensemble has been rescheduled for Monday, February 24 at River Ridge. The bus will still leave at 2:30. Performance times may be slightly altered, otherwise everything should be the same.

Forensics scheduled for today have been cancelled due to weather. All after school activities have been cancelled for tonight.

MS Solo/Ensemble Tonight in River Ridge has been postponed due to weather. Rescheduled date TBD. Wrestling practice has been cancelled at Iowa-Grant.

Friday, February 14th we will be running a two hour late start due to the weather conditions. Stay Warm!

We will be in the Ag Room right after school watching a movie and offering hotdogs, chips and soda. Please come and enjoy. There will be a senior class meeting during resource. You will be discussing your senior trip and other things. High School band/choir members: ice cream drink money will be due on Wednesday this week. Any 5th - 8th grade girls that plan on attending the softball skills camp on Wednesday mornings, turn your forms into Coach Campbell or your teacher by Wednesday. The 6th 7th & 8th grade girls will have basketball practice on Thursday at 5:30.
