There will be a Hunters Ed field day course on June 12, 2025, from 5:30pm to 9:30pm at the Village of Highland Office. In order to sign up you need to go to the DNR website and search for Hunter Ed Field Day courses in Iowa County. You will need a Wisconsin DNR Customer number in order to sign up for the class. Ages 10 and up are best. Contact Office Swinehart at the Village Office with questions.

Congratulations to the Math Team on their 1st place finish at the Six Rivers Conference Math Meet yesterday. All Conference Honors go to: John Dreischmeier, Jason Johnson, Tyson Imhoff, Addison Bedward, Travis Aloisi, & Sophia Tarrell. Congratulations to everyone who competed yesterday. Stop in the office for an information sheet. Late registrations will not be accepted. The park improvement committee is holding its 2nd annual Color Run on Saturday, April 5th at 10:00am. Cost is $30 with a shirt and $20 without, and you can register by visiting the parks Facebook page or contacting Nicole Welsh or Mrs. Naeger. Any students who would like to volunteer at the color run for community service hours can also contact Nicole Welsh or Mrs. Naeger.

NEWS BULLETIN OCTOBER 25, 2024 Good luck to the Football team in their playoff game against Oakfield tonight! Kick off is at 7:00. Good luck to the VB team tomorrow in their regional final! Game time is 7:00. Tickets for tonight and tomorrows games are $6.00 for ages 6 and up. Passes of any kind are not accepted. Please help your ticket sellers out and try to have exact change. MS VB Players: Some volleyball clothes, shoes, & a water bottle were found in the elementary locker room. Stop in the office if you think it may belong to you. The Haunted Hayride is tonight and Saturday night. Any student, 16 or under, that is going on the Haunted hayride ride, will need to be with an adult, parent, or guardian. This does not pertain to students who are working at the event. MS & HS sports pictures are in. If you ordered, stop in to pick yours up. The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! You will be able to visit the fair 3 days after school next week to empower your reading with many great book choices. See the many posters in the hallways for dates, times, and locations. Mrs. Michek has several seniors who have not returned the uniforms they borrowed for senior pictures this summer. If you still have an out of season uniform: ie. basketball, wrestling, softball, or baseball, return it to her asap.

The 2024 Highland Hall of Fame inductees include Jody Kosharek, Vanessa Breiwa-Shah, and the 2010 Volleyball State Champion Team. To accommodate more attendees at the Hall of Fame Banquet, we are switching the nights of our Hall of Fame banquet and Skit Night. The Homecoming coronation of the court, skits, and yell will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school gym. The Hall of Fame Banquet will be on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Highland Schools. Please note the new location for the banquet this year. Thank you to the Compeer Financial Fund for Rural America! Highland Community Schools was recently awarded this grant and has received two multi-process welders which will greatly increase our production in the welding shop and give students an opportunity to learn both SMAW and GMAW techniques in welding as well and overall improve efficiency in the shop work flow. The wire feed option of these welders will allow students to experience, learn, and apply current welding techniques in the Agriculture and Manufacturing classes.❤️🤍
