A reminder as we plan for the possibility of having to do some online learning in the future, we wanted to share a resource that some of our families may find useful. Charter to offer free internet service to qualifying students. Learn more at this link. https://bit.ly/2IYu241

Reminder we want to ensure students have all of their personal belongings and learning materials at home. If there is something your student may need our building, will be open from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm today, Wednesday, March 18th, 2020.

As the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation grows among our community, we want to ensure students have all of their personal belongings and learning materials at home. If there is something your student may need our building, will be open from 9:00am - 12:00pm tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18th, 2020. It is unknown when our doors will be open to the public after that. If you are unable to come to school during that time frame, please reach out to our district office and we will make every effort to accomodate an alternate time. Our staff is working diligently to brainstorm and develop the most impactful ways to continue our academic year together. We want all of our students and staff to take this week to recoup and relax as scheduled, knowing we will have many more updates as the week progresses and we begin to implement new learning strategies in the near future. Until then, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! A pesky little leprechaun managed to find the kindergarten classroom before spring break. He created quite a mess! #cardinalpride #HCScardinals

Gov. Tony Evers has directed the Wisconsin Department of Health and Services to mandate a statewide closure of all K-12 schools. Highland Schools will be closed all of next week for Spring break. We will remain closed after that until at least April 6.
The physical building will also be closed to public access. Spring sports will be suspended until the Health Department allows school to resume.
The school district will provide more information to families as it becomes available.

High school students had the opportunity to video chat with former exchange student, Claudia Editori, about how COVID-19 is impacting her home country, Italy. She has been in mandated isolation in her home for weeks now. She is very informed on how the virus spread throughout Italy and spoke of many of the precautions we should be taking to help prevent the spread of the virus in our area. We are grateful for the global connections we have and opportunities to connect with people from around the world. #cardinalpride #HSCcardinals
