Today we're shining our #seniorspotlight on Star Gerhart. Post-High School Plans: Take a gap year, but then attend SWTC for Accounting. Favorite High School Memory: From my freshman to junior years, I had the pleasure of getting to attend HHS with my friends. I was not in the best state of mind, but they carried me through it all the way. I can't think of a favorite memory, honestly, but they were undoubtedly there for it. Advice to Underclassmen: Fix habits before you ingrain them and have to deal with the consequences afterwards. Even if you succeed with them, something is going to catch up to you. I'm a hypocrite, do better than me. Congratulations, Star! We are so proud of you and wish you the best!

Favorite High School Memory: I don't remember when this happened, but my favorite/most life-changing memory is when I started to open up to other people and begin talking to them a lot more. Because, for the longest time, I was always the silent person. That marked an important stage of my life: having a healthy social life and thoroughly enjoying the company of others. Advice to Underclassmen: Choose your friends carefully. You don't want people that criticize you or take you for granted. And the only thing more important than a good support system is staying dedicated to pursuing your interests. Let nothing get between you and who and what you love.
