I am a lifelong member of the Highland community. I
was born and raised here. My parents, Norbert and Sharon Wolfe, live on
the farm where I spent most of my childhood with my sisters, Deb and
Mary Jean as well as my brothers, Joe and Bill.
I graduated from Highland High School in 1990 and then
attended college at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. I
graduated from UWP in 1995. I earned my Master's Degree from the
University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2003.
I began my teaching career in Highland in 1995 and
have been teaching 4th grade here for 15 years. I love the independence
and energy that the fourth graders bring to our classroom everyday!
They are eager to learn new things and are fun to teach.
My family, husband Tom, children Isaac and Lillyana,
and dog Lizzie, live in Highland. Tom works for Michek Oil Company. So,
when you see a big green and white "BP" gas truck go by, give him a big
wave! (He might even blow the air horn for you!) Isaac is in the 3nd
grade this year and loves school. He enjoys sports, especially
baseball, and playing the Wii. Lilly is 5 years old and in kindergarten
and loves all animals big and small. She enjoys riding her bike and
chasing her brother.
So, that is a little about me and my family. I can't
wait to learn and share with you. I hope you enjoy visiting our
classroom through our website this year. Lots will be happening so
please feel free to visit often.
